Dear Central High Families, We want to make you aware that four anti-abortion protesters were present on the public sidewalk on Daisy Bates during students' arrival this morning. They had signs and attempted to hand out literature and speak with students and staff; however, at no time did the situation escalate. School staff reminded students that they were not required to engage and to proceed directly into the building. The individuals have since left the area without incident, and classes are underway as normal. Our Safety and Security team, along with the Little Rock Police Department, were on site to monitor and ensure a safe environment. Thank you for your continued support.
